Zunich, who has been in Lake County jail since the day of the homicide, said she was in love with Knoefel and that they had an active sex life.
Zunich said their morning routine consisted of her giving him oral sex as he drove her to South High School in Willoughby and even as she lie in a hospital bed with IVs in her arms after her appendix burst.
Zunich spoke in a monotone throughout most of her 5 hour testimony, but occasionally broke down crying.
She matter of factly described various plots with Knoefel to kill Lisa. First, a friend offered to hire a hitman. Then Knoefel suggested a gun, but Zunich said that made her nervous. So they decided on a kitchen knife, she testified.
I was manipulated to do it by Kevin, Zunich sobbed, adding that she cared for Lisa as a mother despite feeling the victim favored her biological daughters over her.
Zunich said she was hoping Lisa would die with just one cut, and was not counting on her putting up such a fight.
Lisa s 13 year old daughter tried to get Sabrina to stop stabbing her mother, and called 911.

Connick asked Zunich if the voices she used to hear in her head told her to hurt people.
